"I have always been inspired by the spirit of adventure.

My dear college friend Ci was sent to Sudan shortly after graduation. For many years, I lost touch with her as she rarely updated her Facebook. In 2019, by a stroke of luck, I reconnected with her and discovered that this independent and brave woman had explored a significant portion of the globe.

She had crossed the Sahara Desert, ventured into war-torn Syria, trekked through the Amazon jungle, and navigated the remote villages of Mexico.

As a designer, I always wanted to create something for these adventurous spirits,  and thus, a seed was planted in my heart."

Maybe We Can Create a Magical Water Bottle

OASSAY's partner laboratory began developing a new type of three-dimensional porous flexible water filtration material five years ago. The researchers tirelessly experimented with different combinations, adjustments, and tests. We were honored to witness its remarkable filtration results against bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and chemicals. When we first saw it, its feather-light, elastic form seemed almost magical.

This inspired a thought: maybe we could create a magical water cup.

Imagine taking this cup into the Amazon jungle, watching crocodiles emerge from the water, and then leisurely taking a safe sip from the very water they swam in.

How to Make the Purifying Bottle More Portable

Maintaining water capacity while enhancing portability has been a significant focus of our research. We explored numerous designs and eventually settled on a detachable purifier and water cup. This design allows for greater convenience without compromising on performance.

Can a Purifier Be a Fashionable Accessory?

This was our first consideration. Traditionally, purifiers are bulky, and achieving a high level of filtration safety typically requires a large machine.

But we envision a purifier that's no longer a cold, impersonal machine. It could be a stylish accessory on your backpack, a companion to any water bottle, or an independent drinking tool.

This time, we aim for a breakthrough.
